New high quality extended version of the Heatbed MK1 PCB for Printrbot, Reprap Mendel and similar machines, 8.4" X 12.6". Most printers can use the extended heatbed by simply switching out the platform with a 4-inch longer one. This Heatbed uses a 12VDC input and heats to 100C within a few minutes. Made on high-quality 170C Tg FR4 material. Professionally manufactured to ensure even heat distribution. Beware of cheap offshore manufacturers using lower quality materials that will not take the heat as well long term.

WARNING! The large Heatbed draws more current than a standard size Heatbed, approximately 17-18 amps at startup for a few minutes, then it will drop to 14-15 amps. It will most likely require a separate 12VDC power supply. We sell a relay board that allows you to control your external power supply from your printer board.


New! Prewire option: Wires are black, 16 to 18 gauge (depending on the size of the Heatbed), and 18" long. Loose ends are pre-stripped 0.4". This option is for wiring only, not LED. We include the LED circuits on our boards because the original MK1 has them but they are seldom used and not required to operate your Heatbed. Enjoy the convenience of being able to connect your Heatbed and start printing as soon as it arrives. These days, it costs $4.50 in gas alone just to drive to the store to get wire and solder before you even buy anything!
